"A Proper Gentleman's Shop, For Improper Gentlemen"
Obviously this question might be better posed to the Wolverine people themselves, but anyways: this flyer says the boots are horsehide, but their website says it's steer. Care to comment?
Mitch-Fair question. The boots are Horween Chromexcel Steerhide. The 1930's advertisement that we "borrowed" for the design of the flyer still refers to the boot as shell horsehide, as it was back in the day. There ARE however, plans in action to have shell cordovan (i.e. nicer than regular horsehide) 1000mile boots produced. Once the factory is tooled to handle the stiffer cordovan leather, the boots will be put into motion!
