I MUST know the following things:

1.) Who agreed to shoot this video for this dude? What is his relationship to the guy on camera?

2.) Which branch of the service didn't ask, and didn't he tell?

3.) How long did he spend arranging the decorative pillows on the bare mattress behind him?

Discuss...

My favorite post every year from TheSartorialist is his coverage of the Jazz-Age Dance on Governor's Island

The execution of these looks is amazing. The summer heat and laid back attitude of the event puts just enough wrinkle and sweat into each outfit to keep it from looking costumey and forced....... I wonder how many of the folks pictured work for Ralph Lauren....

Mister Freedom Fall Oh-Ten....

Last time I was by the store, poor Jared was making good use of his guitar calluses and stamping every one of those leather tags by hand.... They are truly madmen over there. Love it.

Lots of pictures for you. If you have questions, feel free to comment! I'll attempt to be attentive.

Cheers

Pictures courtesty of Hell's Kitchen , but they sure do look like Christophe's camera handywork to me.....

Proudly Added to our Stocklist: Taylor Stitch

I've always beleived that with oxfords (the shirts, not the shoes), and five pocket jeans, the best a designer can hope for is NOT TO MESS THEM UP. That is to say, the formula is there..... execute well and you win. Apparently someone shared this secret with Taylor Stitch.

Fabric from Japan. Single needle tailoring from San Francisco. Corozo buttons. Tailored fit. Sleeves and yokes sewn sans pleats, for a cleaner fit, and easier ironing. Sizes 36-46. Basically, I can't find anything to complain about on these shirts. Bravo gentlemen. Keep up the good work.

Check the Watermelon Japanese Madras..... fire.

Nature is, like, totally the shit.

Lightning strikes three of the tallest buildings in Chicago at the same time! from Craig Shimala on Vimeo.

"For the third time in the last 6 days, another line of nasty storms rolled through Chicago on Wednesday evening. In this clip you will see three of the tallest buildings in Chicago get struck by lightning at the same time. Willis Tower (Tallest), Trump International Hotel and Tower (2nd Tallest) and the John Hancock Building(4th tallest).

HD Video was shot on a Canon EOS 7D. Video was edited with Sony Vegas Movie Studio."

More from after the storm. The sequel to the Triple Lightning Strike from Craig Shimala on Vimeo.

No. Introduction. Needed.

See!! I take a week off from smoking weed..... the SECOND I start again.... This type of shit happens

I'm sure I did a full-on cartoon style double take..... Check the last question below....sorry its blurry... still burdened with a terribly outdated iPhone 3G

"Jesus custom made your order. How did everything taste?".......

It was excellent.... thank you Hay-zeus

Steve McQueen, at Bruce Lee's Funeral

Had the pleasure of trying on this infamous Lee jacket of McQueen's in the flesh. I felt like dropping to my knees Wayne's World style.... "We're not worthy!"

Our funny little Puritan country and the silly up-tight shit we do for "God"

"Graham crackers were originally marketed as "Dr. Graham's Honey Biskets" and were conceived of as a health food as part of the Graham Diet, a regimen to suppress what he considered unhealthy carnal urges, the source of many maladies according to Graham. Reverend Graham would often lecture about the adverse effects of masturbation or "self-abuse" as it was commonly called. One of his many theories was that one could curb one's sexual appetite by eating bland foods. Another man who held this belief was Dr. John Harvey Kellogg, the inventor of the corn flakes cereal."
