"A Proper Gentleman's Shop, For Improper Gentlemen"
Mine never made it to Japan! They were seconds so Wesco sold them off cheap on their site, been wearing them every day since...Great blog by the way.
what are height of your wesco boots?
Thank you sir! Would love to see pics of your boots, if you were willing to share them. Info@craftworkwear.comCheers-Bill
do these fit true to size?
Compared to what?? I wear the same size in Wesco, Whites and Red Wing if that helps at all. I do find Wesco's pull on boots to fit snuggly in the width across the waist of the foot while new however. They take a good week or two to soften them up and get a good, solid, snug fit.
hehe, say if you wear a size 10.5 boots, would you get these special wesco narrow fit boots in a size 10.5 as well? I am wondering how the fit is because these were specially made for the japanese market.
Valid question... and the name "narrow" engineer is a bit misleading. It refers to the toe shape only...not the last. All the boots I saw were D widths. So if you're a 10.5D... You should be good to go
cool, thanks. Also, which boot/ brand have you found that has great support for the ankle?
Most laceup boots of 8" heights will offer good ankle support. Loot at Whites or Wesco. Engineer boots (or any pull on boot) generally will not supply the ankle support of a laceup
Whats the height of these Wesco boots?
